  • UQW and QW question

it says that QW can be used on a wet car, can UQW be used on a wet car?

    Re: UQW and QW question

We've had a few MOL members try it out and they report back with very positive findings. It certainly is not going to hurt anything, but you will be diluting the product when using it this way so expect a slight reduction in the final effect - hydrophobic properties, longevity, etc. That is not necessarily a bad thing if you feel you're gaining something when using it during your drying process.

But if you want the maximum effect from Ultimate Quik Wax, use it on a clean, dry vehicle.

      Re: UQW and QW question

my is outside all the time so a couple of days after i wash and wax the car gets a little dirty but not enough to wash it again, should i use a detailer to clean the surface then a quik wax or can i just use the quik wax first and if i have to use a detailer should i use UQD or QD?

Uqw is different then Uqd. So if your car is dusty, to get maximun results, I would qd it first. Then apply the uqw. You do not have to uqw every time.

I have used UQW on a wet car with good results.

I first get the bulk of the water off the panel with a single, quick wipe with my drying towel. Then I wring out the towel, apply UQW and continue to dry the panel. I really love this product.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Ultimate Quik Detailer is a mist and wipe product designed to remove light dust, fingerprints, etc but it also contains hydrophobic polymers. Ultimate Quik Wax is a spray wax, albeit a very advanced one, but it does not contain the lubrication that UQD contains, lubrication you really need when removing that light dust and/or fingerprints.

Use the UQD as mentioned above, but use the UQW on a clean surface only. Yes, after you final rinse when washing the car it is clean even though still wet.
