i just bought a car and on the bottom of the door there are black spots in the paint, i am assuming it is from the tire kicking up stuff, i have used the clay bar to try to remove them but it did nothing, when i rub my finger across the spots it is smooth, any suggestions on how to remove them?

Re: Help
It sounds like a stain, but could be chemical etching. If it is a real problem to get rid of, PM and we will talk as you are local.James - 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais

Re: Help
WD-40 was recently recommended to me for black tar spots by a very knowledgeable detailer. I haven't tried it yet.Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.
