  • Meguiar's Gold Class Wheel Brush

I know it's discontinued, but a few weeks ago one of our members stated that it was darn well irreplaceable (was that you, Ivan?). I remember thinking at that moment that I am happy with my boar's hair wheel brush and tried to forget the recommendation; but the thought kept niggling at me: If it's irreplaceable, how can I possibly live without it? Eventually, I realized that my very survival depended on obtaining the darn brush, so i searched the internet and found it. It arrived on Friday. My initial thought: it's huge! The brush head measures 8"x6", and the brush, from end to end, is 23".

It's a lot bigger than its tire brush brother.

And of course a product always needs to be shown with a beautiful model. How about my twelve year old, 50 lb. puppy, Kayla?

I do not know yet how well the brush performs, but I am relieved that my personal survival is ensured for a few moments longer. I am now the proud owner of a Meguiar's wheel face brush!

    Cheers,
    Al

The nice thing is you can interchange the longer or shorter handle to your preference or use it without them. Treat it right and it will last you for years...

This brush is great. I have a few extra and just love it. Plus it's nice and soft and gentle on any surface.

That so describes me too, while I'm reading about some products. I now make myself wait at least a week to see if I can live with out it.

Glad to hear you found one. You will love it! I can't believe you made it this long without one.

I used that brush on a set of rims just last week, and it did a great job of removing brake dust. I have an extra one stored away.

I have two of the tire brushes as well.

I got the brush kit when it cam out a while back and just love all the brushs. wheel, carpet, spoke, and the car wash one too. the bristels on the car wash brush are by far the softest I have ever felt.

I wish I could find the Gold Class brushes somewhere. The only one I have is the Sliding Lock brush that I found at a Dollar General store.

                        Shane,

You can still find a few here. Although not the big wheel brush Al found.

The long-handle wheel face brush is available through Amazon.com. The tire brush is available from Proper Auto Care. Microfiber Products Online has great prices for the triple duty detail brush, slide lock detail brush, tire brush, short handle wheel face brush, and the wheel spoke brush. They even sell a brush I had never heard of: the versa-angle wide body brush.

I have two of those.... love its bristles texture and robustness... but lacks cleaning abilities in between spokes, inner edges of rims.
