  • Gold Class Trim Dash Foam - Shelf Life/

Hi All, I recently found a very old bottle of Gold Class Trim Dash Foam in my garage hidden inside a cupboard, the thing is date at the bottm is 2004 and it's not coming out exactly like a foam, i don't even remember how it used to come out when i bought it new. I want to know if I can still use the liquid thats coming out or it might spoil something. Also, how exactly is it suppose to come out, if someone could post a picture that would be great.

    Thanks

    Hi technoguy,

3-5 years is normal shelf life for a sealed can, which would include the foam product you are referring to.

Make sure you shake it well before dispensing the product, but it should look like a cross between wash suds and shaving cream....If it doens't, it may be beyond its life cycle.

Thanks for replying Mike. It does look like more of a white liquid and doesn't come out with pressure at all, just flows normally. Doesn't look like foam at all, thich white liquid, I will post a picture. I guess should be OK.

Also, the dash trim on my lexus rx330 looks more like leather, how to be sure if it is leather or something else, can i use this product on it.
      Thanks

One thing to remember is that with the Foam Dash Cleaner it should be dispensed while holding the can upside down and at a little bit of an angle like the directions say.

Even if the can is bad, the nice thing about the Dash Foam is that it is one of the less expensive products around.
