Depends what kind of spray wax you're using. Some spray waxes are made to be sprayed on a wet car, others aren't. I spray wax a wet car sometimes. I use Hydro Shine from Auto Magic. Obviously it's just a booster wax, not intended to take the place of a true wax. I suppose the type of booster wax you use is a matter of personal preference, though I have been known to use Hydro Shine during the drying process and UQW afterwards. Overkill, I'm sure.

If you have a waxed finish then it should be easy enough to dry off with just a towel. I usually dry it first and then do what i do. Ciera pretty much covered it though.

Eagle One used to make a spray wax for a wet car, but in short it was a big disappointment.
