Welcome to MOL, and congratulations on the new car!

You do not NEED to apply the Ultimate Quik Detailer after the wax, but it is optional.

Some like to do it to get any smears or extra wax residue off, and add a little more protection.

I would suggesting using a Clay Bar before applying the wax if they are available to you. Even new cars can benefit from a clay bar treatment.

Hi Mark (my name is Marco = Mark in english), you have a Ford Focus! Now I have a Ford Focus 2005 but my new car is New Ford Focus SW 2008 black!

Thanks for your reply, I thought to use it to increase the protection of the wax and to better the water slide or the excrement of birds

I'm very jealous! That is going to be a very nice Focus- I hope you will share pictures!

Your plan is good. I would suggest letting the wax cure (after you remove the extra with your towel) for 12 hours and then wiping it with Ultimate Quik Detailer the next day. This will remove the dust, and provide that extra protection and slickness you want

Just come, flagship of the photos to the new car!

For the procedure, it is quite clear, thank you, I will do as suggested by you.

          Thanks a lot

Another question if I may ...
Here in Rome we have the problem that often we find the car with the points scored, because other people when they open the door, they are not careful and banged! In cases like these that products do you recommend to remove the sign and return to do so polished?

          thanks again

If you have paint that is missing due to being banged or bumped by a door then you would normally apply some touch-up paint to the affected area.

              Hi Marco,

Here in the states we have some very talented people that can remove dents. The process is called PDR or paintless dent repair.

I've used them on my cars and it's amazing what can be repaired. I am sure there are people who can do this in Rome.

This is a great site and I am sure you will learn a lot.

Thanks for the replies, I did not want damage so severe, rather supporting the door, these are scratches that are usually removed with the abrasive paste, but then you lose a lot of luster of the body.
