  • Ran out of Detailer spray and tried to make my own.

OK, I was cleaning the inside of my truck and was using quick detailer to clean the dried dirt and such from the door jams and other places where I couldn't use a soapy cloth and spray water to rinse.

So, I took a spray bottle filled it with conditioned water and added a few drops of Gold Class car wash. It worked great but I was wondering if I should have gone back over it with a wet cloth at least to "rinse it". I didn't notice any residue on the door jams and it looked as clean and fresh as did the day I brought it home from the dealership. Do I need to go out in the morning and wash the area I did this to or am I OK to go ahead and repeat and wax in the morning while it's still cool out?

It think it should be fine.
But if you want you can go and rinse.
    Go ahead a wax it.

If you want to be really safe you could go ahead and rinse it. Plus it wouldn't hurt rinsing, where not rinsing potentially could have negative side affects. Better safe than sorry

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

I think you should rinse it.
