2009 New products- how do you like them?

Well, the new products for 2009 have made their way across many stores and many folks have been able to purchase it locally instead of just ordering them online.

I have tried all of them except M205 and they all perform great. Ultimate Quik Wax and SwirlX are my favorite.

What do you guys think of them?

What are you hoping for 2010?

So far of the new stuff I've tried...

M105 & M205 -> They've changed the game. Guys who spent their days bashing Megs six months ago are now on the Megs bandwagon again. Seriously... M105/M205 have made this a really lopsided debate. Two untouchable products IMHO.

Scratch 2.0 -> I like it. Good cut, seems to have a decent working time.

SwirlX -> Don't think I'm a fan (yet). Seems to work dry almost instantly, so maybe when I use it I should be using the KBM.

UQW -> Jury is still out because of the car I used it on (1981 Monte Carlo with Maaco paint job). Seemed to leave my paint oily (I was also using lousy towels). I'll try it next weekend and report back.

I think that's all of tried of the new stuff. If UQW works they way I hope it is going to work, it might be one of my faves, but testing it on the old Monte wasn't a good example.

UC is a nice product. Used it with great results. Finally got the 105/205 combo, used it saturday with really great results. The response I got when I dropped the car off "it looks like a brand new car"

Did a cobalt today just using 205, followed by Poorboys ex-p. Looks amazing.

UQW is phenominal! When my Duragloss Aquawax runs out it will be a steady supply of UQW. It is that good

Obviously opinions will vary, not everyone is going to have the same results

I must say, I love 205. I plan on ordering a gallon of it soon. I also love the new Softbuff pads 2.0. Since the pads are able to be washed without problem, it cuts down time on cleaning.

Now for 105, Both forumlas I have recieved I always had a dusting problem, this may be a user error or just the forumla. I dont know.

For 2010, I really hope there are 3in soft buff pads.

Have you tried the Kevin Brown method of pad priming? Seems to be the fix for the dusting issues.

Hopefully when the weather warms up i will eventually order and try the new M205, It looks like it finishes out nicely and LSP ready, which is an important feature to me.

Swirl X with a DA made my wife's car shine so much it gave her a headache!

Ultimate Compound got out some oxidation out of my neighbor's 2001 Passat that had only been waxed twice since new.

Haven't tried UQW yet...
