          Re: GOLD vs NXT

Well what is better for you is up to you.
          Each car/paint is different.
You have to try them out and see what you like.

The age old question "What is the best....(fill in the blank) is not a practical question, every paint job is different.

Detailing a car is actually a very precise talent
You can learn and be tought but, it comes down to what you like and your talents/experience.

So get them both try them out and you see for yourself.
I like liquid NXT. Goes on easy, comes off easy and leave a great barrier and shine. IMO

Click the link below and read through the article,

Which LSP is better for light colors?

NXT 2.0 is our best protecting paint sealant. It's all synthetic where as Gold Class is a blend of natural ingredients and synthetic ingredients.

Both look great on any color as long as the appropriate prep work is done first.

              Also read this,

Is it a wax? Or a paint sealant?

                Re: GOLD vs NXT

There is no "better" choice. Try them out and see what YOU like best. NXT should typically last longer, but in the end it is which one you think makes your car look best.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
                Remove swirls my friends.

                  Re: GOLD vs NXT

FWIW, NXT is the overwhelming favorite among MOL members, especially when the numbers for the pro versions of NXT (M21-Synthetic Sealant) are added with the NXT numbers: see wax poll. Everyone has their favorite wax. You just have to try them out and see for yourself. I would begin with NXT.
Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

                    Re: GOLD vs NXT

I keep both close at hand - they both have their merits. I lean toward Gold Class though because it is a polish/wax. That aspect really appeals to me.

But then...I have my days where I just want to have my car covered in NXT .
