How well does NXT 2.0 protect your finish? Check this...

I posted this earlier, but I don't know what happened. Last fall, around October, I winter prepped my car with a full detail, topping off the paint protection with NXT 2.0

On Monday, I give the car a good bath and claying. Mind you that this is the 1st time that I have done anything to the car since Oct, except for cleaning the windows...no hose-downs, no quick washes, not even any QD sessions. After all that abuse, here's how my finish looks...

Wax does form a barrier and if you don't break that barrier than things stay protected.

Nothing, nada from the time I finished wiping off the 2.0 residue in Oct until Monday

Did you even drive that car?

I just find it hard to believe you used it for 6months and the wheels do not even have a layer of brake dust.

+/- 100 miles a day to and from work and I did wash it before the pics, but that was the first time anythng but the windows were cleaned since Oct.

What kinda "winter" are we talking about.. Here in SD.. you couldent even tell what color your car is if you did wash it for that long

There were times when the whole car was the dirty-gray colory of road salt.

You must not have many bugs in your commute. I drive about 60 miles daily to work and just in a week my bumper is filled with buggers . My car is white though so they all show.

No winter bugs, but plenty of flying SS&C...Salt Sand & Cinders...I think I'd prefer the bugs...they don't cause as many paint chips.
