APC in Canada

OK.. I have seen it mentioned in numerous threads,but does any of my countrymen know where I can get APC in Canada? I have a feeling that it is probably not approved, because of gov't regulations. If this is so,what are you using as a substitute ?

Pete, I ordered mine from ADS and had it shipped. There is no subtitute for Meguiar's and sometimes you have to go the extra mile to get it....

Hey Pete,

Yeah, it's not sold up here because of our Government regulations. But I have some on the way (as well as some hyper dressing, all season and other things on the way.)

All you need to do is contact Greg Morton. He will set you up with a local rep, and s&h is much cheaper. Most every on line retailer I found wouldn't ship across the line, and were expensive if they did.

I was into a Carquest store here earlier today and noticed a catalog; they're going to check with their distribution next week and let me know what they can/can't get.

I obtained some pricing from my local Carquest and I've got two issues with it:

1. we'd have to buy in cases of four 1 gallon jugs.
2. it's about 50% more than ADS even after the exchange....

Have you contacted Meguiars like I suggested? I paid $18 for a jug, though its on order right now. Shipping here to BC was $15 (WAY less than any US company), and that was for 3-1 Gal jugs, 2 32 oz bottles of polish and some bottles. (figured I'd get my $15 worth lol)

I order from ADS and get it shipped to those places by the border to pick up.

Hey arfax! You're not far away from me! Where do you have it shipped cross border and how much do they charge/how much on average do you save on shipping?

Which crossing is it at? The truck crossing?

I have my supplies shipped to "Ship Happens" in Sumas,Washington. They charge $4 US or $5 CDN to receive each parcel.

Hey Whiskey, i use TSB shipping down in point roberts. $3 bucks per package under 20 pounds.
i use it because ads doesn't ship to canada, also i have never had to pay duty/taxes when coming back over yet.

Yeah, I'm out in Langley, so it wouldn't be too far either way.

At least If I I get stuck I have an option.

I tried EVERYTHING to get the meguiars detailer line spray bottles but no luck at all. (funny huh? you can get the chemicals which are not allowed to be sold here due to restrictions no probem... but getting some empty spray bottles is next to impossible unless you wanna pay $40 shipping for some $2 bottles!!!)

I even contacted Meguiars and no such luck. They won't ship them to Canada, and the Canadian distributor says they CAN'T get them. maybe one day I'll order 'em. Got some generic clear ones for now...

Hrmm if you are in Langley you might find one at douglas crossing but point roberts is closer for me and theres nothing to do there so crossing back in 15 minutes doesn't equal 39439242 questions from the border officers
