What were the Mercedes-branded Meguiar's Products?

Up until about mid-2008 Mercedes-Benz USA sold sets of care care products, with the Mercedes and Meguiar's name on the bottle. I sure wish I had bought some of these, just for collectible reasons.

I was really sad to see them leave Meguiar's.

Anyway, were those products pretty much Gold Class line type of products, or were they specially formulated?

I wonder if some dealers might have them lying around still.

There was a bottle of "Interior Cleaner" and a clear plastic cleaner. I also remember there being a bucket, too. I know there were a few other things, too.

If you check eBay, there should be a few kits that show up once in a while.

When I first came to work for Meguiar's at the Corporate office as a writer I had the good fortune of working on the label copy for a number of co-label product lines including the Mercedes-Benz and this included working with R&D to refine the label copy.

While there's only so many ways to make a car wash or a leather treatment etc., all of the products were formulated to Mercedes-Benz specifications and were unique to that line. I don't know they were based off of existing Gold Class products or not as I'm not privy to information like that and it doesn't matter in the respect that all of our products are premium quality and the Mercedes-Benz line was definitely no exception.

I use to have one of each in my collection but gave them away to a Mercedes-Benz owner/friend of mine as it's just too much to try to collect everything Meguiar's has ever made so off to a good home they went to be used to maintain a Mercedes-Benz.

Very cool. I sure wish I had ordered some this time last year, when they still had them available. I'll keep an eye on ebay.

The Mercedes products reminded me of old Medallion cleaner and sealant; they worked similarly, though the cleaner seemed to be a bit more mild than medallion.
