I should have probably done that today. Instead I just did two coats of M26.

M26 sure seems to give the best result of any Meguiar's wax. I know the longevity isn't so good though.

      You can not have anything

In my case, I would like to apply on a first door thin coat NXT 2.0, then the M26, and even then UQD - I am curious what the results will be

I can do a test - placing on the first door NXT 2.0 + M26, and on second door NXT 2.0 + Gold Class. Compare then what will be a better option

Comparing them door by door by fender is likely the only way you will know for sure what you like the looks of best....

But pure durabilty/shine, Nxt 2.0 is hard to beat.

whenever i use GC or M26 i think to myself: imy paint isnt wearing any Hydrophobic Polymer Technology . i guess this keeps me from using any other wax other than NXT 2.0 or M21 2.0

Well, I think NXT, M26 and UQD would look good as you say. However, I do have a hard time telling them apart side by side sometimes. I do wonder how much our brain plays into it.

I've done the NXT then Gold Class and really like the results. That combo tho didn't seem to wear as well although that may have been just my mind playing tricks. Other factors also play into the wearability of that combo, weather primarily. I have had really good luck with just two coats of NXT as my final step.

Sorry, my mistake - it should be "you can't have everything"

I've done NXT 1.0 and M26 afterwards on my red Prelude. I thought it looked great. Personally, I couldn't tell a difference between NXT 1.0/M26 & NXT 1.0/Pinnacle Souveran. I did like the beading on the the M26 combo better though.
