Hello all, This is a comparison test and review of Meguiars Rich Leather Cleaner/ Conditioner Spray and Rich Leather Cleaner/ Conditioner Wipes. So lets get started then:
The Test Subject: I tested both the products on my leather wokout bench that we have had for ten years or so. This is the first time the leather on it has been conditioned, it was pre cleaned with Meguiars APC and a microfiber before the testing was done.
Products 1 :
Meguiars Rich Leather Cleaner/ Conditioner Spray
50/50: Initial Appearance
after a wipe with a microfiber:
as you can see the wipe with a microfiber decreased the gloss and it also left a non greasy feel and left the leather very plush feeling. The product spread out nicely and buffed off nicely to a mirror non greasy sheen!
Product 2: Meguiars Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner Wipes
50/50: Initial Appearance:
This product was very easy and convienent to use and it gave a uniform appearance withonly 2 passes! I expected at least 3 or 4 to get uniform coverage being that i was working with a wipe but that was not the case. Besides using this on my leather steering wheel on my truck i have never used it before. Sorry but i forgot to take a picture of wiping it with a MF after, but i think you get the picture, it was less glossy and left a nice plush feeling and a low gloss sheen.
Summary: Well, both product performed very nicely and i posted pics for you to be the judge. I was very suprised with the wipes and how they performed. I will be using both these products more often and perhaps i will finish Conditioning the work bench later and possibly updating the thread with the Megs Rich Leather Cleaner / Conditioner cream version.
