Question on Swirl-X

I saw this in my local AutoZone today!! My question is, if I wanted to use it without having it cut a lot, could I use it on a finishing PC pad in order to "burnish" the paint? I am assuming it is pad dependent and can be used this way, but I wanted to ask the experts!

if you wanted to use it with less cut i would just use a foam applicator pad and not use a lot of passion when working with it. Im sure others will chime in

Yes a finishing pad (9006 or 9207) would give you less cut. If you are looking to remove light swirls and towel marks and produce a glossy finish, then this would be a good starting point.

If you are just looking to remove some light micro marring and produce a glossy finish, maybe you should start with ColorX.

I have color-x as well. I thought that swirl-x on a finishing/glazing pad might give a little more bite and a finish that is just as good.

Does Swirl-x finish LSP? I am assuming it finishes SIMILAR to 205, which seems great!

Yes it does. They both finish really nice.

I just used SwirlX this past Saturday (a rare 55 degree day in Maryland). I was impressed with its long work time. I even experimented with different pads and was pleasantly surprised with its corrective abilities. It finishes really well (ready for LSP).
