Are those wheels polished aluminum that has been neglected or is it machined and clearcoated? If it is machined, those are not going to do the trick. You'll need to sand it down so the finish is smooth then apply several steps/grades of polish. It's too much to go into here.

If it is already polished aluminum that needs to be brought back, then it should work.

Personally, I had very poor results from the Mothers Powerball (mini). I'm not trying to bash the product, but I was dissapointed. I might have had a very undersized drill for the application, was using a cordless DeWalt and the ball would almost stop spinning once it touched anything. Batteries were charged, but I just couldn't get it to work like I was hoping it would.

Also, those wheels look pretty deep and intricate, so application by hand might give you better results (although more physical work on your part).

Only thing I use the powerball (mini) for is to do my exhaust tips. Works great for that but I don't like it for anything else.

Can't find it, though I think I looked for the wrong thing, but here are a couple of pictures anyways.

Here were my polished wheels after I used Wheel Brightener on them thinking they were chrome:

Here it is after Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum Polish and the Powerball Mini:

I ended up making one more application by hand with a regular applicator pad to get rid of some "hologramming" caused by the semi-rough foam.

Make sure your rims are not anodized first. It's hard to tell from the photo if they are anodized or coated in some way.

Have you ever polished them before and if you did was your polishing cloth turning black?

If it's uncoated aluminum it should turn black, if it's anodized or coated with anything then except for a little dirt possibly coming off our applicator pad will not turn black.

Nice looking rims, what kind of truck are they on?

I've used it and i like it. ColonelCash i used an electric drill (plugged in) and it worked just fine. I tried a battery operated one too and had the same problem. But with a good drill and plenty of power i never have a problem. but it looks like you will have to do some hand work like a couple have already said.

                  Peace
