    Good deal at WalMart: Meguiar's Complete Auto Care Kit - $20

    I was at WalMart yesterday stocking up on some microfiber towels and a wash mitt and found a stack of promotional Meguiar's Complete Auto Care Kits on the end cap of one of the automotive aisles. About $40.00 worth of product selling for $20. Plus a free (albeit inexpensive) Meguiar's logo travel mug. The kit includes:

    NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0
    (Retails for $17.99)

    Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer™
    (Retails for $9.99)

    Quik Interior Detailer Wipes
    (Retails for $5.99)

    Hot Shine Tire Foam
    (Retails for $5.49)

    Obviously not a complete (consumer version) detail kit, but still a good value for getting some good Meguiar's products for essentially half price. The listed products are full sized retail versions, not samples. The Tech Wax and Quik Detailer were products I was planning to purchase next week, so finding them in this kit was an added bonus.

      One of my Walmarts had that kit on sale last month for $10.00. They sold out in 2 days. I bought 2
      The other Walmart near me still has them for $20.00 and has 2 shelves full since Christmas. I bought one set for $20.00 around Christmas.

          My local Wal-Marts decided to "break down" the kits and sell each item at full price. They did this around Jan. 1st, until then the kits were still $20. Doesn't seem very fair to the consumer, but then again we are talking about Wal-Mart...

            i went to walmart today and they had around 10 liquid nxt 2.0 bottles on the shelf by themselves with no box or applicator. that's just wrong...

              I just got my kit 10 min ago at the local wal mart, they had a lot of them. Great deal!

                Part of me wishes Megs would create a new label for their packaged products next year. Maybe something that would distinguish the contents from the retail packages....but I can see how Megs wouldn't want to do this.

                Just another questionable business practice by Wal-Mart that I'll have to live with. Oh well, the world will continue to spin.

                  I wouldn't necessarily say it's Wal-Mart as a whole, just the people who are in charge of that particular area at that store. If the store manager never knows, and surveillance and/or the people unloading those things thought they were meant to be unpacked, who in a position that could do something about it is going to know?
