I think they give the same results.
It is more of preference which you like to apply more.
Some people say liquid is easier to apply than paste.

Re: nxt 2.0 wax vs paste

They will both produce the same results.

The main difference is that the liquid can be applied via a machine such as the Dual Action Polisher (G110, DA, PC) or rotary buffer.

Other than that its personal preference.

Liquid is far easier to work with IMO. The paste suits enthousiasts that like a bit of old-world charm from their LSPs.

I like liquid because its easier to get a thin coat with and easier to remove

its pretty much personal preference, they are both reallly good

I've never used the NXT 2.0 paste, but I've used other pastes and I think it is just personal preference on application and removal. I despise putting on pastes so I choose the liquid.

Your end-results are predominantly affected by your prep-work.

Gloss or the wet-look comes from a smooth surface. So focusing your energy and efforts at insuring the surface is as smooth and clean as possible will result in the glossiest finish.

I use liquid, with using DA. If I'm applying second coat next day or something, I use paste by hand. I like working with pastes. They're fun.

i have only used the liquid version of nxt 2.0, but have been curious of the paste..
is the paste as easy to buff as the liquid?

In my opinion, I think so. I think maybe it takes more concentration, to apply a thin coat with a paste. If you apply a thin coat, it's just as easy.

If you put it on a bit thick, you can still take it off pretty easy, but I'm not one who minds having to put a tiny bit of effort.

It's fun working with a paste sometimes, but if you have liquid and happy, I wouldn't worry about trying the paste.

Does one bottle of the Meguiar's NXT enought to wax 2 cars? How many vehicles do you get out of the bottle? Is it available to be bought in bulk?

A bottle of liquid NXT 2.0 should last the average user for MANY vehicles, and for personal use (few vehicles in the household) likely a couple years.

NXT 2.0 is a very economical wax and it does best when applied in very thin coats, which helps it (the bottle) to last a long time.

To buy it in bulk you would need to buy the professional version which is for all intensive purposes the same product (difference is you can apply with a rotary) and it is called M21 2.0.

A bottle can last a very long time . Once you master the art of thin coats, a bottle goes a LONG, LONG way for an enthousiast taking care of 2-3 cars.
