  • Quik Interior Detailer

    Hey Guys,

Right now the interior of my Truck is wearing Supreme Shine Protectant. Every time i wash the outside of my truck i like to vacumm the inside and wipe down with Quik interior detailer, this saves me time in the long run as it doesnt have a chance to get dirty really fast.

My question is when i spray Quik Interior detailer on a door panel or on my dashboard i have noticed after the product is removed that some areas where i applied SSP are removed. Should i just spray it on my microfiber then gently wipe or just use the Quik Interior detailer wipes since i still have another can of that left. Sorry if this is a dumb question and i am just being picky but i just want to find a way to have a uniform appearance of SSP and still be able to MAINTAIN the interior as i believe its just as important as maintaing the outside of the vechile.

    Thanks Guys

I am not sure I am exactly getting your problem.
Why don't you just spray SSP on again?
But I would try spraying on a Microfiber or using the wipes.

You should always spray onto your towel first, and that should help fix your problem. Just lightly mist your towel and give that a shot.

The Quick Interior Detailer is designed to leave a matte finish. That is also likely part of the problem.

I think spraying on the microfiber is what i am going to do. To clear up any confusion my problem was that I sprayed QID and it would remove some of my SSP and it would leave my door panel looking like i applied SSP in some areas but not in others, but i think spraying on the microfiber will fix my problem, I think My question came off rather confusing so i apologize for that, thanks for your help

i suppose a couple squirts of QID on a MF should be more appropriate for removing daily dust rather than actually spraying it on the surface

            Thanks Murr

              Re: Quik Interior Detailer

Quik Interior Detailer is a liquid cleaner that at the same time freshens up the appearance of most surface and leaves a little UV protection behind but it is a cleaning product, so if you apply it over a surface with dressing on it then QID is going to act to clean or remove anything topical.

Just to note, taking a microfiber by itself and wiping a surface with a dressing on the surface will act to remove any excess dressing just like using a towel or a microfiber polishing cloth with just water will act to remove any topical dressing.

If you want a surface to look like it was just dressed then the best way to do this is to dress the surface.
