  • Dried PlastX - HELP!

I used a little bit of Plastx to remove a stain on my speedometer gauge plastic caused by a car interior spray cleaner. Although the PlastX largely took care of the stain, I accidentally left some of the PlastX around the edges of the gauge and it dried and adhered to the plastic! Is there ANY way to get this stuff off once it's dried on hard? Any suggestions for what can remove it? This is making me crazy.

    Thanks!

Have you tried warm water and a soft towel?

The only think I can think of is that chemicals might stain the plastic.

Try some warm water and blot at it.

Or you could try scraping it off.
Otherwise try using some more PlastX itself.
      Just some possibilities to try.

Like dissolves like. Try more PlastX to get the dried stuff wet again, work it in a little bit, and wipe it away.
