Layering

Next Friday, I am planning a full detail of my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. I have a polisher and buffer. So I am not killing my hands. LOL. I have swirl remover, polish, NXT Tech 2.0 and, #26. My question is should I do 2 coats of NXT Tech 2.0 then a layer of #26 or vice versa.

Two thin coats of Tech Wax 2.0 and then wait 12-24 for a nice thin coat of M26. But if you are pressed for time then you could always wait 20-30 minutes bewtween coats

Well the way i see it is you are getting the protection of a synthetic wax and then getting the beauty of a carnauba. I have topped Tech Wax 2.0 with No.26 before and then there are times where i did not do it. I noticed a slightly darker, and more wet looking finish when i used it on my red Silverado. The thing is that what looks good in my eyes may not look good in yours. Try this first. Apply both coats of Tech Wax and then wait 12-24 hours. Then wipe down your car with a quick detailer to remove the dust that accumulated over that time period. Then tape a small square section test spot and apply No.26. Then remove the tape and see if there is a difference. If you do not see a difference then you may not need to apply it to the rest of the car

Meguiar's doesn't officially recommend the idea of Topping, our finishing waxes, that is applying one type of wax over another type of wax to try to get a better look in appearance to to maximize protection. Basically, pick one wax and apply two thin coats.
