  • New SwirlX vs. M09 Swirl Remover

Just coming into this stuff late so please excuse me if these questions have been answered before.

As I understand it, M09 Swirl Remover is a combination of a quality polish and paint cleaner. Is the new SwirlX made up of the same type of combination (polish and paint cleaner)?

Used by hand, (assuming by the same person under the same conditions) which product would tend to be more agressive? M09 Swirl Remover or SwirlX?

Going by the link posted below SwirlX will be more aggressive.

Look over this post and it should help.

I saw that link also... But it does not include M09 Swirl Remover in the agressive list. Really would like to know which would be more agressive by hand, assuming all conditions are the same, SwirlX or Swirl Remover in the professional line? And is the make-up the same on both products? Meaning are they both a combination polish and paint cleaner?

If SwirlX is (at least potentially) more aggressive than M83, then it is certainly more aggressive than M09, which is one of the mildest of Meguiar's cleaning-polishes. The critical difference, though, is that M09 is based on Meguiar's traditional diminishing abrasive technology, whereas SwirlX is based on Meguiar's new super micro-abrasive technology.

Yes... agree with you. Will be very interesting to do a test between both. Right now it is 22 degrees with snow coming down. Therefore, I cannot test them personally (my garage is not heated).
