  • mirror glaze #16 paste wax

Just got a bogo of this product and I understand it must be applied very thin. Do you need to let it dry completely before removing or can it be removed sooner. Also the durability, how great is it. Unfortunately we received freezing rain and snow yesterday and the temperature is minus 12 Celsius, so it may be awhile before it gets tried.

Apply a thin coat, allow the wax to fully dry the carefully wipe off.

If you want to see what the problem is with a thick coat, on a car that' not important to you apply a thick coat to a section about a foot squared and let it fully dry and then try to wipe it off.

Note, M16 is a pure wax and can and only should be applied to a perfectly cleaned and polished surface. This includes your car and even if you do the test of how hard the wax can be to wipe off, bot surfaces need to be washed, clayed and polished smooth before applying any pure wax and especially a wax like M16

Sounds like the same weather we have here. The durability is great!

My BOGO M16 is still somewhere in Canada....hope it doesn't freeze before it gets to me!

Can't wait to try it out.

Does M16 apply well with the G110 (4" pad)?

              Just to note...

BOGO = Buy One, Get One Free

Or more correctly that would be BOGOF

Never applied it with a machine. I love using paste waxes by hand. However I would think it would work good. It's really an easy wax to apply, glides on nice. Have you ever used it?

Nope, not that I can recall. I may have WAAAAAY back in the day, just can't recall.

I tried Supernatural with the DA and it worked well. I'm just lazy and my hand gets sore when applying paste by hand.

FWIW, I had a few broken bones in my hand from a motorcycle accident back in the day.

                      Yes.

The trick is getting the wax onto the face of the pad. You can take your pad and rest it against the wax and blip the on/off button and put your wax on that way or use a knife, spatula or some people use the flat handle portion of their G110/PC wrench to spread some wax onto the face of the pad.

Saying apply thin seems simple. My experience was i put it on much, much, much thinner than than any other wax and it was still to thick and it was very difficult to remove. The durablity is great, but because of the weather I haven't had a chance to wash the car in over a month to see what it is like under all the dirt.

Here is my thread that has some really good information http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/sho...115#post268115

For those of you in the states who ordered the BOGO M16 from eShine, did you have tracking info after it left Canada? My last tracking was on 12/9 and it says "item has left Canada". I have not recieved anything else via email. I want to know when to expect it so that it doesn't get left out side in the freezing MN temps.

                          Thanks,

The tracking for my order also says mine left Canada 12/9 and the last entry on 12/10 says "International shipment has arrived in the destination country". No new information since.

I'm hoping they arrive today. I guess USPS takes over delivery once it enters the states.

Dang. I'm going out of town tomorrow too and won't be back till Monday. I just don't want it left out in the cold.
