  • NXT Spray booster wax problem

I just finished apply NXT Tech Wax 2 days ago, and today I applied some Spray booster wax after NXT car wash. I dried the car and applied spray wax with foam application on the hood of the car. The spray wax hazed and I tried to remove it with Meguiar's microfiber towel. While I was do that, it seems that white particles/lines formed and dried and became stuck on the paint finish. It took me a few times with hard rub with the towel to remove it. This really disappointed me for some reason, all the hassle of removing it. Even the Tech wax was easier to remove.

I don't know if I have applied the spray wax on the hood incorrectly or I may have missed something.

Please, someone let me know if this is normal and is there a solution to this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

I just did my first booster wax application yesterday, a few weeks after an NXT application.

I must say I was *very* happy with how quickly and easily it went on/off. I have read much about it and was a little nervous about using it.

This is what I did. NXT car wash, dry, apply Spray Wax with Gold Class foam pad to entire car. The application of the spray wax took literally 5-10 minutes. While waiting for this to dry, I applied tech protectant to all the black plastic and tires -- another 10 minutes. Went back and removed dry wax with MF towels -- about 5 minutes. Beautiful finish!

I must say I was suprised. I have read good and bad about removal and application. I think it is a great "booster" product, very easy to use for me at least!

Sounds like you applied too much of the booster wax. We saw this happen on my friends car, as we were cleaning up cars for a show. 3 people working on it, looks like 2 were applying to thick (this was when NXT just came out, so we didn't know). Applying VERY thinly, and you won't have the same issues again. Also, applying in the shade to a cool surface is also a must.
