Few things I feel should be mentioned here: for starters, I do not think a 7 inch orbital works well with wool under any circumstance. Wool is used on high-speed rotary buffers in order to work properly.
Secondly, for removing NXT after it has dried (Use the swipe test with your finger to test if it is smearing or not. No smear= ready to remove) you can either use a microfiber bonnet OVER a pad, or most just use a microfiber towel by hand. You shouldn't be using a pad itself to remove the wax.

Hope this helps.

My bust, it is a high speed rotary. I just put in orbital on autopilot.
Hmm, Microfiber over the foam finishing pad sounds good.
Just to be clear, a finishing pad is what you want to use to APPLY the wax (non-mechanical pad, ie no abrasiveness), and then you can use either a polishing or cutting pad WRAPPED in a microfiber bonnet to remove the wax (Some like the hard pad under the bonnet, some prefer softer for curves etc).
