You can spray our Quik Wax onto a car that is still wet AFTER washing and then spread it around and wipe it off but it's kind of messy and if you have any standing water and it decides to run off the car it will take the wax you've sprayed onto it with it and this means it can take wax into cracks and crevices where it can be hard to remove if it dries there.
Personal opinion is that it works much better to apply to a dry car.
You are not supposed to apply UQD to a wet car, it's for dry paint.

Yeah I wasn't sure which one you meant at first, but after I thought about it I figured that is what you were talking about. UQD isn't a wax while it does add some protection, it is still considered an instant detailing spray. I really like the NXT spray wax though, you may want to give it a try.
