Applying NXT Spray Booster with a pc, why? Because my big black Hemi is a heck of a lot of truck to wax by hand with any product.
What I learned:
I might as well have used the NXT tech wax. I'm pretty sure that I could have applied and removed it just as fast. It took me 30 minutes to apply and remove the Booster. My pc was set at 3 and I used a finishing pad. I removed the product by hand with a microfiber polishing cloth.
If you use the Spray Booster with a pc use it sparingly. Just as you do my hand. Too much product splatters like crazy.
I sprayed some Booster directly on the pad before I started. I also applied Booster directly to the panel (the hood). I had way too much product. A lesson learned.
I found that a light mist sprayed directly on each panel followed by spreading it a bit with the pc before turning on the pc worked pretty well.
I worked the product until a haze formed. As I mentioned above, removal was easy.
The results are stunning. The black appears to be even more dark and wet looking than with just the tech wax, but then that is a pretty subjective observation.
Will, I try this process again? Probably at least one more time. I think that I can shorten the time to about 20 minutes now that I know how sparingly to apply the Booster.
