Bummer. What countries will be carrying the engine products? I may pick some up during my travels.

Re: Megs new Engine Clean and Detailer on Youtube

When this product was noted in another earlier post Mike was nice enough to let us know that new product announcements for the U.S. would be made during SEMA. So, I guess we have to wait till then.

I still think those products need to be upsized.

On another note: Meg's isn't the only one to intro new products elsewhere first.
The search engine Google frequently makes introductions of changes/new services in other markets first.

looks scary to spray water like that into the engine bay...... meguiars should introduce a foaming action cleaner that you can just wipe off..... kind of like a foaming QD product for engine bay.....i'd rather a dirty but working engine bay instead of a shinny engine with electrical shorts.....

What's Megs official policy on engine washing in view of the new engine cleaner and Youtube video?

Most newer cars are so well sealed, it is super rare to have an issue. Dealerships and detailers clean engines like this all day long, everyday.

We simply suggest using common sense as the golden rule

Watch the water pressure...watch where you are spraying....watch how close you are...if you do this, you will be ok.

When you are dealing with older models with exposed components, that is where you'll need to cover electrical components.

                      Hope that answers your question?

I have always used light pressure from a garden hose and have never had an issue as far as problems with starting or anything. Only thing I do different is I use a blower to dry everything completely.

I clean my engine all the time and have never had an issue. How come this is being introduced outside of the US. Isn't the US your biggest consumer base. That is like me coming out with a new rice and selling it in the US instead of China. It just doesn't make sense.
