i would really like to see this intra brand comparison both in the spray and paste format. i have been using NXT and have been quite pleased on my black sl 55 and black 328xi. what i am quite curious too is the possible differences in performance between the NXT and the NXT 2.0. any thoughts ?

Don't think you'll see any appreciable visual difference, the new 2.0 has the new hydrophobic polymer technology so you'll see better water beading for what that's worth.
Best thing to do would be to do the test yourself, do you have both versions?
Since we don't make version 1.0 any longer it's kind of a mute point anyways but...

Here is a small, visual comparison of 1.0 vs 2.0 on a black bike tank. Nothing comprehensive... it is, what it is.
The only reason some people get lost in thought... is because it is unfamiliar territory for them.
