  • Confused: NXT 2.0 bottles??

Ok, so I went to the local Crappy Tire shop and picked up a bottle of NXT 2.0..

Halfway through waxing my car I noticed that the bottle itself didn't say "2.0", it just had a label saying "NXT Next Generation"..

Being confused I went online to find pictures of the actual bottle, and sure enough the label should say "2.0" on it. Thinking someone did a switcheroo at the store (this has happened to me before at CT), I took it back. Unfortunately they didn't have any more 2.0 left... Only a bottle of the original NXT, and sure enough the original's label was the same as mine.

Pissed off, and with my refund in hand I drove up to Parts Source. They had two boxes of NXT 2.0 there. I opened both up to behold the same frickin' bottle that I had .

Sooo.... Is someone making a mistake at the factory? Or are they just reusing old labels??...... I'm really confused. Anyone else in Canada notice this?

Thx 3Fitty!... I probably should have searched first...

While I understand it was a mistake, Meguiar's should have informed the retailers so they can put up some notice at the point of sale displays. It cost me a whole afternoon running around to return, and try and find another one... All for a $29 bottle of car wax...

My sense is that this problem has been going on for them but they are VERY quick to rectify. With Meg's... the first thing you should ALWAYS do is contact customer service. They are really quick to address issues an correct them ASAP.

I was once in a Walmart in North Jersey and saw the same thing that happened to you (but I didn't buy it) but advised Meg's of the issue. They immediatly wanted to know the store where I saw the issue (to fix it) and track where the problems exist.
