  • Gold Class liquid wax or NXT 2.0

    Hello,

I've been using Gold Class liquid wax for a while now and I love it. I haven't tried NXT 2.0 but all I hear is raving good. Are both intended for the same purpose? What's the difference? Are they intended for different applications?

    Thanks,
    Ismael

I like NXT 2.0 more because of the durability of it, the new version has the Hydrophobic Technology and you can really notice if and again the durability, it can last longer.

I remember when I started using Meguiar's products the wax that I used was the Gold Class, started to use and get more waxes from Meguiar's and now I have a lot of them but I replaced the Gold Class with NXT.

The best thing to do is to get a bottle and try it out, if you like what you see and how it performs than stick with it if you don't you just have to switch back to Gold Class and try something else on the future

I cant comment on NXT 2.0, but its predecessor, NXT did NOT look as good as the Gold Class on my black car.

Of course I use the show car glaze and hi tech yellow wax under both the NXT and the Gold Class.

The Gold Class just seems to bring more gloss and depth...

Gold Class is a blend of synthetic protection ingredients with Carnauba wax which is a natural ingredient. NXT is all synthetic protection ingredients.

Both are great waxes but in most cases like a lot of things in life to know which wax you'll like the best is to try them out on your car's paint and then decide which one you liked best as far as application, wipe-off and appearance.
