  • NXT -- Good Stuff for Silver

I first applied NXT Tech Wax to my wife's silver 2002 Tacoma on June 2 -- just one coat. I applied a second coat on July 20 -- another single coat. Yesterday, August 29, I applied the Spray Booster after successfully removing tree sap with just NXT shampoo in hot water. It took only 15 minutes to apply and remove the Spray Booster.

NXT looks great on silver and allows for easy streak free washes.

(I just wish life was as easy with my big black Hemi. )

    Hi Tom,

NXT Tech Wax is a great wax. To date, I have applied it to probably every color under the sun and have always had nothing but stellar results. Sometimes this has been after a exhaustive multi-step detailing process, and sometime, this has been all by itself.

It offers excellent clarity, shine, gloss and protection. The raves and positive comments Meguiar's gets via e-mail and by phone are overwhelming to say the least.

It will be interesting to see where NXT Tech Wax ends up after the numbers are in this year.

you mentioned using hot water, I was once told that hot water helps strip wax. do you or anyone else know that to be false? I never gave it much thought till you mentioned it.

really?!?! never heard that I always use hot/warm water. hummmm.... now you have me thinking!?!?

How about this... maybe on a wax that can not stand up to higher temps like a carnauba? is that possible?

I never worried about it because I don't have access to hot water, but hearing it made me wonder all over again. It could be completly wrong, just what I was told once.
