Need clarification on NXT box and labeling.

I purchased two bottles of NXT Tech Wax from two different stores for the same price.

I'm not sure which version the first bottle of NXT Tech Wax is. It has a non-rectangular box, black G35 image, purple bottle and (I think) black cap. But it does not have 2.0 on the box or bottle.

The second bottle has a rectangular box, purple bottle w/ black cap, black G35 image and 2.0 on the box and bottle.

IIRC, the original version of NXT Tech Wax had a red Mazda RX-7 (?) with a black hood. The box was rectangular and the bottle was purple w/ a green cap.

My question is which version is the first bottle of NXT? I don't have pics at the moment but will post up later tonight.

I think the line of orginal Nxt may have been relabelled once, or at least a couple products in the Nxt line were.

If it doesnt say 2.0, then it should be the original "1.0".

I was a Walmart in Canada last week and had liquid NXT in my hand and was about to buy it when I noticed the label didn't say NXT 2.0. I put it back, and bought the clearly labeled NXT 2.0 from Canadian Tire. I was surprised that Walmart was carrying the old NXT

Here are the pictures. So I take it the items in the left and right of the photos are the original and 2.0, respectively. I didn't notice it till I got home. I had to buy from two different stores because they ran out at the first one.




If so, I'm going to return the original for the 2.0. Unless someone wants to buy it off me. Send me a PM.

The bottle on the left is the original version. Looks like your going to be returning that one.

Everything cleared up and I now have two bottles of NXT 2.0.

Excellent! 2.0 is great stuff. The re-labeling of the original Tech Wax does throw you off a little.

I did too, and found an explanation for it here. It looks like the first batches of Canadian NXT 2.0 got new boxes but old labels on the bottle.

i ususally recognize 2.0 by the reflective nature of the box
