The NXT All Metal Polysh in the NXT Line has a diminishing abrasive in it to remove oxidation from neglected surfaces like aluminum.
Instead of using this product for a clear coated wheel, Meguiar's would recommend using a product intended for use with clear coat paint, i.e. a paint cleaner, or a cleaner/wax.
