    *Bumping threads months old*

I was just wondering today, where does the DC Polymer Sealant fit in with the other DC products?

    1)Paint Cleaner
    2)Polish
    3)Carnauba
    4)Polymer Sealant?

Is it an alternative step,(perhaps in place of carnauba) or does it work well in the system, either before or after carnauba.

*once again bumping an old thread*

Well I actually just came from the store and bought the polymer sealant and paint cleaner, can't wait wait to try it out. My car is filthy too since it's been raining heavy everyday for the last 2 weeks.

Sorry for not getting back to you on this, it can be hard to keep up with all the requests for information especially for products I don't have access to, or even easily obtainable information on.

That's cool. I understand that being an Aus only product information is scarce at your end.

Bumping was also for anyone who has used it previously too.

I am familiar with #12 - I own a jar in paste form! Good product!
Since you own both products, are they in fact the same? Smell, consistency, etc?

              I dunno ....

              G'day guys,

I've been using the Polyner Sealant for over 5 years now & do like the end result. To me it gives a very "shiny" clear gloss look to a paint finish... But, it does leave behind a LOT of residue!

It definitely has cleaners within it! I now use it exclusively on my wheels & it lasts for months. So far, 2 coats to each wheel last January & still shining & beading water. plus washing is a breeze.

I've been very tempted to try the colour boost. It looks like your US colorX, but keep putting off purchasing it. May have to re-consider it.

Right now NXT is one favouite wax/sealant I like using.

Is there any reason why Meg's does not ship to Aus the same products that you sell at home? I know we are a small market, but it seems a real shame you don't support your Aus distributor with the same product! Or don't they think it will sell here? Oh well, thank god for the internet...

I'm dying to try #21 & NXT glass etc...

              Have a good one....
              ooop's missed a spot...

I just came across this thread. Do you use a random orbit polisher to apply the DC Wet-Look Polymer Sealant?

Is there any advantage in applying the poylmer sealant and then the Nxt wax?

I've used A-12 Cleaner Wax with a random orbit machine, and since DC PS is a similar product to A-12, then I don't see why you couldn't use a buffer to apply it.

But be careful not to buff it dry since it is a cleaner wax.

Sounds like a good idea to me. The DC PS will pre-clean the surface and set everything up for an application of NXT.
