  • Can i use DC paintcleaner with rotaty?

Can anyone tell me if I can use this paintcleaner with a rotary to get some swirls at cobwebs away?

    Best Regards Frank

No you can't. There are no lubricants to handle the rotary speeds and heat.
One can with a G100 dual action polisher. If you have access to #80 Speed Glaze that will work fine. Now are you talking a Dewalt 849 or an orbital buffer like a G100??

If you are looking for something like DC1 in aggressiveness then you could get M09 Swirls Remover, it's formulated to be used with a Rotary Buffer and the aggressiveness in these two products are very close, almost the same

I am just about to buy some #80, but can the #80 give swirlmarks when applied with a rotary? or should I get som swirl remover 2.0? or both?

#80 Speed Glaze will remove defects, but because you are going to work with a rotary buffer you may experience holograms if used incorrectly

Have you ever done a job using a rotary buffer? If so then there shouldn't be a problem

Good luck and remember to clean your pad on the fly

I personally love #80 and can get a beautiful swril free finish almost everytime. I think it can also depend on your technique, experience, and paint as well but #80 always does a great job for me.
