I only tried NXT spray wax once before, and that was about 3 years ago when I used it to top off the 1 cleaner 2 polish 3 wax system on my 99 trans am the day before my wedding/honeymoon (holy run on sentence, but that car looked GOOD!).
Anyhow, I tried it again a few days after I got back but the spray bottle must have failed. So, it sat in my garage for the next nearly three years, until last night. I have a bunch of old stuff laying around, and I wanted to clear some space out before we moved. So I got this stuff out.
Mind you, I live in Cincinnati, and this bottle of spray wax stayed in the garage. So, it's seen some cold. Well, I tried another sprayer and it didn't cooperate much either.
So, I poured some out onto the hood. semi-oops. While this stuff dribbled down my hood onto the grill (oops!), I was able to get a coat applied and was impressed with the results.
I did notice though, that with the liquid wax, there were brown clumps in the mix as well. I merely picked those off the hood and proceeded to apply as normal. Is that from its age? from freezing and thawing? Should I have not used this on my hood?
I've heard high praises sung for NXT as a booster. I would like to start using it, as from what I can tell it works well!
