  • My NXT day

Finally got around to finding all the NXT products (yea, walmart has them now!) and the time to use them.

Wanted to give my impressions, this is the first time doing this (posting pictures etc.) and I had to use my kids cheap digital camera! Check out my gallery for pics, but they are really bad. (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/galler...500&ppuser=951)

    * NXT Car Wash -- I love this stuff! I never warmed up to Gold Class wash, for some reason it attracted bugs and insects! NXT is so slick and has so much suds, I am so glad I found it.
    * NXT Wax -- Amazing product. So easy to use, 30 min for my whole car (include 10 minutes of "waiting" in between applying and buffing off. Great finish, looks better than any other wax I have used. Even my wife noticed
    * NXT Vinyl protectant -- Another great product. I used Gold Class foam pads to apply it, then buffed with a microfiber towel. Looks great!
    * NXT Booster -- I will use it next time!

Overall -- Great stuff, I am a total NXT convert! I really love the smell too, this stuff is great, thanks Meguiars!

I wonder one thing, will you start to sell the NXT foam pads as you do the Gold Class pads? I really like the NXT pad over the GC ones, but I can only get the 2pack of GC pads at walmart.

Thanks again, and sorry for the poor quality pictures, I am just starting to get into this!

One tip that I saw somewhere else that works great...

Use 1" foam brushes to apply the protectant to the exterior. Just spray the protectant (a quick burst) on the brush and the apply. WalMart sells the brushes in the paint dept. for .23 each.

I like this because it gives it a nice even coating and also because I never failed to get it on my T tops or paint edges when applying it with a rag.

I have two brushes by the way...one to apply then after it sits for awhile I go over it with the other one to remove any excess protectant that may be there.

DoctorB... NXT is the way to go I have yet to use the wash but I think I might pick some up.

Like the tip RB98 might have to give that a try!

Foam brushes do work great on trim and if you get any protectant on your paint a dry MF towel takes it off no problem.
