  • Nxt 2.0 Paste Wax, Need Answer

    Hey

Have a question about the nxt 2.0 paste wax that is soft and watery!

It should be just like the regular nxt paste wax?

Have a buddy that brought me a can he just bought to show me how soft and watery it was.

I think it has been frozen along the way what do you guys think?

He put it in the fridge for about a day and a half and said it hardend until it warmed back up and then right back.

NXT 2.0 paste is known for being soft. Also if left in the heat they can tend to look kind of watery so i prefer to keep them in a cool area until ready to use. So what I'm trying to say is you should be fine.

NXT Tech Wax 2.0 in the paste version should have a firm texture or consistency to it, it's not soft like butter would be on a butter dish.

If your friends can of wax is watery or soft with an irregular consistency then definitely something is wrong with it and you should either take it back to the place at which it was purchased or call our Customer Care Hotline at,

I have a question about this. I have a few cans of NXT 2.0 and most of them if they sit in my garage for a period of time then they do become a little soft and have what looks like a liquid ontop. Now all i do is bring them inside to cool them off till i need them now but as you said something may be wrong with them. I have never thought about it because they go back to normal state after cooling down and work just fine when using them but do you still suggest i take them back and keep them from heat all together until ready to use?

a few water drops on the top of the wax may be signs of sweating, but if the wax has an overall wrong look to it as is very soft and watering then there's something wrong with it.

Soft and firm are kind of relative terms, I'll try to take a picture of the can I have with me and post it tonight. Maybe you can do the same as can stang-krazy.

Re: Nxt 2.0 Paste Wax, Need Answer

Ok so here are a few pics of what i was referring to. Now this only happends in a heated inviroment such as being in my garage on a hot day like i stated before. Once cooled the wax returns to its normal state so i never thought anything about it. Is this not supposed to happend? If after seeing the photos you guys still want me to send it, i can. I have plenty of NXT 2.0 to go around
Ok i took it out to my garage and let is sit for a bit and this is what it looks like after about an hour of being in there. Notice the little puddle of liquid starting to form

This is what it looks like after a few hours, notice it has a liquid look ontop

And it has also become very soft

Very soft almost like a pudding but only the top layer not the entire contents of the can.

This is what i thought he was talking about and to be honest i thought it was normal for wax to do that and thats why i suggested he just keep it in a cool area until its time to use the product. If this is not normal than i will be more than happy to send you guys this can to take a look at if you wish.

                Hi,

By the looks of it from the photo, it needs to returned. Sorry about that. The CC guys will take of you.

I took 4 pictures of the can and tried to put up with the post and they just went on as links so I took them back off.

The wax was really soft and you could just touch it and your inprint went pretty deep.

Sorry the guy called me back yesterday before I wrote this post and return it to the store where he purchase it and said the other can (just had one can left) was the same so he got the liquid instead.

                  Thanks again

Yes, please do sent those back to my attention at the address listed in my previous post. As stated, we'll replace the product you send in and shoot something else your way as well to help cover the cost of postage. We'll take care of you, don't worry, but we'd really like to investigate those containers a bit further.

                    Thanks for your help guys!

Re: Nxt 2.0 Paste Wax, Need Answer

                      Here you go Daniel...

NXT Tech Wax Paste when new in the can should look firm but have the consistency of shortening.

Here's some pictures... this is the normal way it should look.

Should have a firm, solid look before using, not watery or runny.

My finger pushes easily into the wax and breaks it up.

Should be soft and easy to spread, a little wax should go a long way on a smooth, clean surface.

                      Hope that helps...

                        Thanks mike for the pics.

I've uploaded the 4 pics of my buddy's can of nxt 2.0 and I just bought a good can of nxt 2.0 and uploaded 3 pics on this gallery and when I go to upload them, again it keeps putting down as the link?

                        What am I doing wrong?

                          You mean these pics?

When you're in the gallery, left-click on the thumbnail to make the pic full-sized, then right-click on the full sized image, a list of options will appear on the screen, left click on "properties" and when the 'property' screen appears, copy the entire URL from that page.

Return to the reply to thread (or post new thread) screen and left-click on the symbol that looks like a picture...holding the pointer on it will display "insert image." Erase the HTTP that's already in the address line and paste the url of your pic in its place, then click OK

                              Hello,

I bought 2 cans of NXT 2.0 on my business trip to NJ.
I'm experiencing the same problem post on this thread with 1 of them.
The 2 cans have exposed to the exact same condition since I bought them.
(including being in a luggage on a plane)

The entire can of the "liquid" one have texture almost exactly like the liquid version of the NXT, can even see some oil/solvent collecting.

I put it in the fridge and it seemed to solidify slightly, but 5 minutes after taking out of fridge it just mushes up again.

What should I do ? Can it just be used like the liquid version?
