  • NXT question...

My black mercedes has a lot of spider web marks...I heard it was hard to get them out with a powered buffer...because that would cause swirl marks...I' have never used any powered buffer...what should I do to get these out???

By the way, I love NXT...It's awesome, if I wanted to do two coats, how long after the first coat should I wait till I do the other? And if I seal it with #26 would that make it last longer and shine more?

ps, I found NXT car wash at Wal mart, i had checked 3-4 times and finally only one was there! I didn't even know they carried it! I am sorta pumped to use it tomorrow! But i can't wax my car until the paint cures from the paint job!

To help get rid of the swirls in your finish, i would use DACP w/ a G-100 on a W-8006 Pad...

The G-100 is pretty much foolproof and can do a lot to help rid your finish of swirl marks

You have a black car so its also recommended to go over your finsih again with #82 or #80 (depends on who you ask or what you have) to get rid of any haziness that the DACP might have left behind (which is usually indicative of not working the DACP long enough)

After that you can go to town with your NXT, the general concensus is that you should wait anywhere from 12-24 hours in between coats to let the ESPs get all nice and happy.

I've found that topping with #26, while not improving on the NXTs results does extend those results longer by providing xtra protection... again i would wait that 12-24 ESP happy hours before topping with #26 or #16

be sure to remove all your products with (to quote mike) "your finest microfiber towels" to avoid re-introducing swirls into your finish.

    I hope this helps
