I have a bottle of DC2 polish that still has about half left in it. I've read on these forums the shelf life of most products is roughly 3 years. I'm guessing the bottle is at least 8 years old but the product inside hasn't separated. Is this stuff any good? Can I still use it or am I better off purchasing a new bottle?

Re: Is my polish too old?
It's probably OK if it has never frozen. It is cheap enough so if you are unsure I would just get a new bottle.

Re: Is my polish too old?
If it has not separated or have ever frozen, as stated above it is usually ok to use. I doubt if any permanant damage could happen. The worst case being not spreading or working onto the surface correctly.
Not too long ago, I "unearthed" a really old can of cleaner wax from a bygone packaging era, it smelled a little strange, but it worked great! I did not use it on MY car's paint, but on the frame of a friends motorcycle and a set of old chrome hub caps, it cleaned and shined well.
