What wash to use over Nxt 2.0 wax??

If I wax my car with Nxt 2.0, then, should i wash it with Nxt Gen Car Wash or can i use Gold Class?? Cos i heard Gold Class is the best of Meguiar's washes but want to use the perfect match for the 2.0 wax so it lasts longer.

Will any of these 2 soaps remove the hydrophobic properties of the Nxt 2.0 Wax??

it won't really matter i have only used gold class and i am happy w/ it.never used nxt.one or the other will work fine.

No, neither will remove the properties, nor will they add to the hydrophobic properties or wax protection.

I love Gold Class wash. Leaves a great looking finish. NXT cleans a bit better, so if your car is a little dirtier (I use this after I have driven it in the rain).

FWIW,

I use NXT in winter, seems more slippery (at least I can't sit on the hood ) And...use Gold Class during the summer. Others have said the ones out of the Detailer and Mirror Glaze line work great too, just not as available to the consumer at local stores.

Deep Crystal soap is a good ol' standby too!

Gold Class is the gentlest, so if you want mildest, that is the one to go with.

All Meguiar's car wash soaps are non-detergent, so they're not so strong as to work like a detergent dish washing soap, that plus other ingredients help to make our car wash soaps slick and slippery with conditioners to help maintain a nice looking finish.

That said, you have to remember that just the act of "touching" the finish, or in this case pushing some kind of wash mitt over the paint, has a cleaning or micro-abrading effect that will wear off whatever coating is on the paint.

That's why we always type that whenever you "touch" your car's paint, you have to use the cleanest, softest, highest quality products you can obtain, this includes wash mitts, soaps and drying towels.
