hey everyone , new to the forum and had a question for everyone. has anyone tried to put down a layer of the liquid nxt then use the solid gold class 2nd coat? it seemed a good idea in my head, the liquid to soak in and a solid coat to kind of add a coat of armor?

Re: new nxt and gold class 2 coat
Welcome to Meguiar's Online!
Meguiar's doesn't recommend topping one wax with a different wax as an official procedure but we understand it's a popular thing to do among enthusiasts, here's an article about it for you to read before you start.

Re: new nxt and gold class 2 coat
i have thought about that before, except the other way around.since GC has polishing oils use that then top with NXT 2.0 since it seems to also have decent "fillers",plus lasts longer.would that process make any since,or be a waste of time??

Re: new nxt and gold class 2 coat
Mike has a very good post on Meguiars products with a little general knowledge about each one. If you will read that it will tell you which products have cleaning ability and which are pure waxes. If a wax has cleaning ability it will just take off alot of the previous wax that was applied.2005 Trailblazer LT Majestic Red Metallic
