scratchx question

hi all

my question is my car have a littlebit swirls appear on the hood left hand side, i desided to use scratchx to remove it, so, if i just use scratchx on the left hand side but not the entire hood , will the result be different compare to the right hand side ? ( i mean the reflection of colour or shine level),, or is this product is suggested to work the whole car each time as well? hope anyone can give a advise!

Maybe.

What condition is the rest of your car in? Not just swirls, but if the paint is generally in need of a full detail, then yes, it will look different. If the rest of you car is in good shape, regularly detailed, etc, then it will all match up.

Your paint can only reach a certain level of good looks, so if the other part is at that level, all you can do is match it.

thanks for your quick reply, coz i am a lazy guy, as i know this products is not a easy on easy off one, and i don't have any machine to help! i just use my hand only
my car is blue which wax can improve the colour most?

The wax wont do as much as the the paint cleaner and polish will.

1st. Clay the car.
2nd. Use ScratchX on the trouble spots
3rd. Then on the whole car use Deep Crystal #1 Cleaner and Deep Crystal #2 Polish, then your wax of choice.

Or:

1st. Clay the car.
2nd. Use ScratchX
3rd. Use a good cleaner/wax like ColorX (or Colour Boost in some countries) and follow up with your wax of choise.

I like to use #21 Synthetic Sealant for my wax, but Nxt 2.0 would likely be easier to find.

i think i can't find #21 here , nxt 2.0 also
i can find the following mag's product in hk
clay kit
deep crystal 1
polish 2
gc wax/ nxt 1st /cleaner wax
scratchx ( thinking to buy)

will #21 be the best try?

The regular cleaner/wax is a bit milder than ColorX, but if you are looking to save time, it will be good also.

I have a feeling #21 may be even harder to find there. A coat of GC or Nxt on top of the cleaner/wax would be fine.

have you tried the streets in Mongkok near the ladies market. I think shan tung street should have some good NXT paste wax.
M21 quite difficult to find geh.

YES , I DID CHECK OUT THE STREET AND HAVE THE GC WAX IN MY TRUNK, BUT I WANT TO KNOW IF #21 CAN FIND IN HK YET?
