  • whats the differance between NXT and ColorX

i have heard alot of conflicting things about these two products, I have read the labels on both the both offer polymer protection. The ColorX has much stronger cleaners from what i can tell but i have heard that the polymer wax is the same as in the NXT. After using both products i can not really see any differance after i use Nxt on top of the colorx anyone know what the differance is

ColorX is a very strong Cleaner/Wax formulated to address a wide variety of surface defects.

NXT Tech Wax is more akin to a pure wax with only a sleight amount of specialized cleaners. NXT should be used on surfaces in good condition to start with.

Sometimes the differences you see depend upon the lighting your car is in, especially bright sunlight. Sometimes the differences will totally be dependent on paint condition. Paint that needs to be rotary buffed with a compound will not be improved much by NXT Tech Wax, and possibly only marginally by ColorX, especially if the defects are scratches.

ColorX contains both Polymers, (Synthetic) and Carnauba wax, (Natural wax). NXT does not contain any natural ingredients except water.
