i just got back from the pocon raceway for nascar .last thursday i thought i would put a coat of wax on my car becuase it would be sitting outside 4 days.today i washed it and ran my finger down the side .the paint was totally dry aswell as my hand.so when i ran it down the side it sqeeked paint was still very smotth and had a really good shine to it.so i was wondering does that sqeek mean there is no wax and the coat i pit on last thursday was gone already or do you think there is still wax there.?

if poccono is anything like michigan and bristol when I go, your trapped in a mud pit all weekend if it rains and I know it rain there last weekend how trashed did your vehicle get? I can't prove this, but I believe that dirt on your surface will take wax off faster than just a rain storm, at least that seems to be true for my work truck compared to my home truck. I guess I should of said slickness because none of this proves if wax is there or not.2000

try another coat. I noticed on my work truck which sets outside, it took a few coats before nxt seemed to "stick". FWIT the truck doesn't get to much attention, I'm lucky if I can buff it once a year and wax it 4x's. the only reason I had time to try several coats was the weather being so weird this year. after about the thrid try nxt seemed to stay much better. I should change that to "the slickness and water beading seemed to stay with the truck better".2000
