I finally got one! - A NEW G220 in Australia!


Hey guys

Well I took the dive and purchased a new G220 from the UK and it arrived today in Perth Western Australia - it looks unreal. I had to purchase a UK to AUS plug adapter ($10) but it works great.

I was able to get it at a reduced price of UK130 pounds and a mate brought it back with him as luggage.... guess what I am going to be doing this weekend?



I will post some pics once I remember how to do it.

Lucky your mate brought it back for you! The cheapest shipping quote I got was £70 which brought the total price to £200 or $455.00 AUD!

If megs dont get back to us poor Aussies soon I will just buy a 110v and transformer.

Yes I am very fortunate and I think you might be right Alex that I am the first in Austrlaia to get my hands on one. I was going to give it a spin today but turns out to be a 38C day so bugger that. Looking to do a trial on the bonnet of my Caprice on Saturday so let you know how it turns out.

For those really wanting a G220 you should consider purchasing from UK as like I said I picked it up for what I considered a reasonable price.

I got it for 129.99 UK pounds and purchased it on-line from GP-Wizard who were fantastic - you alos get free delivery to any UK address.

Dont worry everyone!
the G220 will be available for purchase from June 08.
only a little bit longer to wait

from what ive been told we will also be bring in the W7006 for separte purchase as well.
