I hadn't noticed that big of a problem. There seemed to be some dust attraction when using DC soap or AA soap (forgive the use of Armor All soap, it was in my younger years. This past March!) I switched to NXT soap. Then the dust attraction problem went down tremendously.
Helps??

Tis my own opinion that acrylic polymer sealants (as a class) create a static charge.
We actually ground most dark cars if we've done much buffing, cause there's plenty dust... Additionally, our outdoor environment is quite dusty (construction, 40,000 cars per day, etc., so we ground 'em outside, also.
Makes a difference.

My experience with NXT is that the dirt doesn't seem to stick to the paint. It washes off very easy compared to the carnauba wax products I've used. I also don't seem to get as much dust buildup as I did with carnauba or Zaino. I also use NXT on my painted wheels and NXT definitely holds less brake dust than carnauba. YMMV.Jim
