  • ScratchX with Cotton-wool, good or bad idea?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I've been spending some time on this forum, reading & admiring the posts.

I've got a question, what do guys think of using cotton-wool when applying ScratchX for example? Instead of cotton terry towel or a foam applicator?

    Thanks

    Hi Eagle,

    Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Wool fibers tend to be kind of scratchy on highly polished finishes. I would test a piece of it with ScratchX in an inconspicuous area first before using it in on the rest of the car finish.
