can the spray wax (a-line, NXT) be applied when the car is still wet? or is it preferable to apply it when the the surface is dry?

Yes it can be applied while the car is still slightly wet.........I've done it even in the rain
and it works a treat

Yes, it may be used on a wet surface. But the consensus has been among MOL members that it's more difficult to use that way. I tried it on a wet surface and it was OK, but in certain spots it was more difficult to wipe off. You have to be really careful to apply it evenly!
